What would the Founding Fathers do?

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -- That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Here, as we stand on the brink of America’s self-administered destruction, I must shake off the frustration and anger that has kept me silent for too long. The time for talk will soon be over; in the coming days, the time will be upon us when all true American patriots must answer the call for their country and their unique way of life. As the Democrats prepare to foist a socialist healthcare system upon us via a naked subversion of the Constitution, cowardly “deeming” the Senate health care bill passed without even voting on it, America as we know and cherish it, that “shining city upon a hill,” stands to be no more. The Democrats’ childless “we won and you lost” taunts will themselves no longer have any meaning, for they will have violated the sacred trust so foolishly placed in their greedy hands by an electorate hoodwinked into believing all of Obama’s false campaign promises. If these Democrats proceed on their current course, they will have done no less than seize power illegally in an act of outright tyranny that would make many a hard-fisted world dictator jealous. It won’t stop with healthcare either – make no mistake about that. As Charles Schumer himself said in a private moment caught on microphone, the Democrats will soon be in a position to do whatever they want, regardless of what the American people or the Constitution say.

Why would the Democrats do this, knowing full well that passage of the monstrosity of a socialized health care system is political suicide? First and foremost, they think the American people are too stupid to take care of themselves and that they alone, in their munificent elitist wisdom, know what is best for the sheeple. The Democrats care only about power and – it can no longer be denied – the eradication of the American form of government. A few may actually believe that transforming this country in Europe’s image is a good thing, but the majority of them are only interested in seizing permanent power for themselves in the cesspool that is Washington, D.C. Health care is only a part of their overall plan to bring about the complete collapse of our economic system. Comrade Obama has assiduously been putting into place the socialist infrastructure that will be called upon by the elite in Washington to replace every vestige of capitalism he is working so assiduously to destroy. Exacerbated by the federal government’s reckless spending, the American economy will likely collapse by the end of 2011, and Obama plans on being there to pick up the pieces and place the whole lot of them into the socialist puzzle he has personally designed.

Oh, but we’ll take back the Congress in November, won’t we? The Tea Party Express is poised to roll roughshod over significant numbers of Democrats, right? I am afraid this is where this horrifying plot thickens. If the Democrats are able to force the terrible health care bill down the throats of an American people solidly opposed to the bill, they will see that as the green light for doing anything and everything they want to do. I am convinced that their insidious plans include an amnesty bill that will give each and every illegal alien (including Obama) the same rights as natural-born American citizens – and that includes the right to vote. We are talking about some 30 million new voters, all of whom will owe their new-found rights to Comrade Obama and the Democrats. This is Plan A for the Democrats to retain power in Washington this November and in the months and years following. An amnesty bill would be much easier to pass than the current health care bill, for nefarious progressive Republicans like John McCain and Lindsey Graham would no doubt cross party lines to add their Yeas to the infernal chorus of the left. Pelosi might not even have to arm twist and bribe recalcitrant conservative Democrats to force such a bill through the House. Rest assured that the Democrats have no intention of losing control of Congress this November.

2012 will be far too late to save the America we know and love. At this point, I think November 2010 will also be too late. The Democrats care nothing for the rule of law or for the Constitution. Our “President” even dares to attack the Supreme Court during a State of the Union address, clearly exposing his contempt for that crucial component of the separation of powers. In the face of America’s impending self-defeat, the question is simply this: What are you going to do about it? I know what the Founding Fathers would be doing.
